Systems Integration

Al Jol's Professional Services Organisation manage integration projects through the provision of a unique range of technical services. Projects can either be owned by Al Jol– with regular progress reports provided back to the client - or co-managed in conjunction with the customer's own staff, with a team of highly experienced consultants becoming part of the client's design and implementation capability.

The services cover everything required in order to make a complex and demanding project succeed – all the way from inception to completion. Completion is reached only when the project has been fully documented and handed over with full training provided. The end goal of any project is for the client to receive a fully functional and supported operational environment.

A traditional project might include:

• Project Management - to determine time-scales and deliverables, manage risk, report progress and escalate issues.
• Scoping - to analyse requirements, specify what is to be provided (and importantly what is not) and to manage the expectations of all parties involved.
• Design - to produce a total solution accommodating all aspects of the requirements including considerations such as business objectives, growth factors, resilience and business continuity.
• Proofing - to configure products, prove interoperability and demonstrate a fully functional solution prior to widespread deployment.
• Packaging - where appropriate the packaging stage creates installation packages, which include configuration details and licenses in order to automate remote deployment as far as possible.
• Deployment - logistical planning of resources, facilities, product shipment, identifying regional issues and local dependencies, and co-ordinating parties during rollout.
• Documentation and Hand-Over - ensuring the solution can be operated, managed and upgraded by the customer's own staff. Alternatively Al Jol can provide Managed Security Services to monitor, manage and upgrade security infrastructure and solutions on behalf of the customer.
